Okay, it’s on!
My “Absolute Beginners Guitar” and “Absolute Beginner Ukulele” group classes will start Thursday, May 7. Guitar from 5:30 – 6:15 (EST) and Ukulele from 6:30 – 7:15 (EST).
If you’ve always wanted to play the guitar or the ukulele, now’s the time to make it happen. You’ll be playing songs you know right from the first class. All you need is the appropriate instrument for the class, a tuner for your instrument, the Zoom platform on your computer, tablet, or phone, a working Internet connection (broadband is best), something with which to take notes, and a desire to play and have fun!
Classes will run until Thursday, June 25 (a total of eight). Total cost, per class, is $100 (can be paid in two $50 installments). Each beginner class includes a 30 minute individual session to acclimate the student to what is needed for class (tuned instrument, music stand, the basics of making notes with your instrument, etc.,) and a quick rundown of how the classes will work.

This sounds great! I’m not really a beginner, but I would definitely benefit from your class. Now is it $100 for all session from 5/7 thru 6/25? If so, I’m very interested and excited. I’m interested in the acoustic guitar lessons.

I too am not a beginner, but there are many missing dots in my learning. Are you going to do more group lessons in July/

I am planning on doing a class that I call “All About Uke,” which is essentially a “beyond beginner but not quite intermediate” level class. These will start the second week of July and run through most of August. Look for a post this weekend. Better yet, send your email directly to me (dhodgeguitar@aol.com) and I’ll be sure to include you on all the email lists of classes.
