Gigs and Performances
Hello to all
I’d like to thank everyone for making 2007 such a great year in terms of playing out. This year is still a little “new” and the winters here in the Berkshires don’t especially lend themselves to making plans to go out and hear music, let alone play it, but I’ll pass along what news I can concerning future performances as soon as I can. You’ll know about things as soon as I do, so please keep checking in for dates of future performances!
Speaking of dates in the future, I can tell you about two:
Friday, May 2, 2008
Definitely mark your calendars for Kathy Reichert’s return to the Monterey General Store. Her show last October was magical (and standing room only!) and we’re very fortunate to have her come back. I’ll post more about her back up band (myself included) as we figure out who’s going to be available.
The Monterey General Store is located on Route 23 in “downtown” Monterey, Massachusetts, right next to the Post Office. Music starts at 7 PM and goes to 9 PM, but come early and have one of their incredible sandwiches or some very tasty soup.
Saturday, October 4, 2008
It’s our debut at Dewey Hall in Sheffield, Massachusetts, as part of their “First Saturday Music Series.” I’m hoping to give the folks a taste of the best of the Riverside Jam, with a stellar band and a fun two-hour song set. I’ll post more about the line up as we get closer to the gig date.
Dewey Memorial Hall, located on the Village Green (right on Route 7) in Sheffield, Massachusetts, is a great place to see and hear live music. Lots of room and tables to sit and room to dance if you’re so inclined. The show will run from 7:30 to 9:45 with one (very) short break and snacks are available. $10 suggested cover at the door goes to the band.
Hope to see you there!
Peace
