This Time It’s Not Martians…

Hello to all!

It’s my pleasure to announce an upcoming show: Saturday, November 28 (two days after Thanksgiving), I’ll be joining some friends to play at Grover’s Mill Coffee. It’s a great little coffee house in West Windsor, New Jersey, fairly close to Princeton and practically right off of Exit 8 on the New Jersey Turnpike. Check out their news page for the exact address and phone.

It’s especially nice to play out these past weeks as I’ve not been doing practically any performing at all most of 2009, owing to both teaching and writing schedules. This will certainly be a little more intimate than the FODfest shows, and hopefully just as exciting and fun.

If you can make it, please do come by. Would love to see you and get the chance to chat in person.

Peace

    Greetings from Dundee Scotland

    Hi David,

Many many thanks for your guitar instruction
pages. I just found them a few days ago – fantastic.

I have always wanted to play guitar but being disabled I cannot get out for lessons
and cannot afford to have a tutor visit my home.

Even just reading through the instructions and then practicing is better than the medication at killing the pain. I have severe arthritis in my back and neck so playing is often difficult – but then I can work thru your site at my own pace.

Many many thanks. Your hours of work getting all this together are much appreciated.

I just got a 12 string guitar and found your site when I googled ” playing a 12 string”

    Regards

    Andy

    Hello, Andy!

Thank you for writing and congratulations on your new twelve-string. I hope that you enjoy it.

My thanks as well for your kind words concerning my work at Guitar Noise. It’s always good to hear that these lessons and articles are being helpful. Hopefully you’ll continue to find inspiration from the Guitar Noise website.

More importantly, I hope that you continue to find pleasure and magic in playing. It is all about working at your own pace and in taking joy in the music you create.

My best wishes to you, your family and friends for a fantastic New Year. I look forward to hearing how things are going with you.

    Peace
