You’ll find Solo Flight, a terrific article from Tom Serb that works beginners through the basics of soloing as well as Raise The Barre, a beginner’s tutorial I wrote on playing barre chords. Plus there’s another short piece from my giving a few tips on things you can to to “practice” various music skills when you don’t have a guitar handy.
